launched Tamil Nadu’s leading soap brand - Hamam. The brand is one of the local jewels in the HLL portfolio. It operates in the rapidly growing and competitive naturals soaps segment.

The Company's research and consumer feedback had shown that the consumers in Tamil Nadu have a high preference for soaps that are suitable for all in the family and provide for all skin needs – Purification, Nourishment and Moisturising. Based on this, the new Hamam has been developed with the perfect balance of Neem that protects, Tulsi that purifies and Aloe vera (a new ingredient) that nourishes.
For the first time since launch in 1934, Hamam moves on to a very modern and trendy look. The new Hamam now comes in a new attractive oval shape that has been well received by consumers in product tests. It also comes with enhanced fragrance that provides a longer lasting freshness. The packaging too has been modernized and made very attractive.
The new Hamam will also be available at the same prices as earlier. The prices of the Hamam SKUs are Rs 18 for 150g, Rs 13 for 100g, Rs 6 for 50g and Rs 2.50 for 20g.
