HUL wins Annual Intellectual Property Award
27-04-2010 : Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) was felicitated on April 26, 2010 for receiving the highest number of patents in the year 2009 at Annual Intellectual Property Awards 2010. HUL has been recognized for the second year in a row with this award.
The award was instituted by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIIP) and Intellectual Property India (IPI) in New Delhi.The award was presentedby Shri. Anand Sharma, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
The award aims to recognize companies, and institutions individuals who have filed highest number of patents, trademarks & designs and thus encourage the growth of IP Filings and Grant of IP Rights in India.
