HLL Shareholders Approve Edible Oils And Fats Disposal By 99.86% Majority

On June 20, 2003 HLL had sent a notice under Section 192 A of the Companies Act 1956 to all the shareholders for seeking their approval by means of postal ballot for the disposal of the Edible Oils and Fats undertaking. The Board had also appointed Mr. S.R.Tata, a Partner of M/s A.F. Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants, Mumbai as scrutinizer for conducting the postal ballot.
Mr. Tata submitted his report to the HLL Chairman today, August 1,2003 and the results were also announced to the shareholders today.
