In its 75th year of HUL’s existence in India, in 2008, our employees committed to volunteer one hour for each day that HUL has been in this country which collectively meant 27,375 hours of volunteering.

    Reached through Lifebuoy's hygiene education programme in India since 2002.

    Exceeded the target of reducing CO2 emissions from manufacturing operations by 25% on a base of 2004

  • Water

     

    Twenty Eight of our manufacturing sites are zero water discharge sites.

  • Energy

     

    The energy consumption per unit of production since 2004 has come down by 34%.

  • Pureit

    15m people

    have access to clean drinking water without boiling, electricity or running water
