CR Governance
Corporate Responsibility at HUL is led by the CEO and the Management Committee (MC) of the Company. The Management Committee governs the CR strategy with a view of key strategic approaches and seeking reports on impacts and efforts against clear targets. While the CR is led by the CEO, the ownership of each of the nine cells is owned by a function head MC member. For execution of the actions and activities, there is a team of 10 Governing Council members for each cell from respective functions.
CR Governing Council
The MC of the Company has constituted the CR Governing Council (GC) which is responsible for:
recommending CR priorities for approval by the MC and monitoring progress
recommending HUL positions on critical issues for approval by MC
receiving stakeholder feedback
The role of the GC is formalised, with a clear mandate and terms of reference outlining its mission, purpose, membership, meeting schedule and reporting systems.
