We use understanding of consumer needs and are committed to create high quality branded products that are safe to use, competitively priced & accessible even to consumers across the socio-economic pyramid.
We believe that our goal to deliver competitive, profitable and sustainable growth goes hand in hand with ensuring a sustainable future for the planet and helping society to prosper. We will do so by providing superior and safe products to new consumers and markets in ways that address India’s major challenges – including poverty, health, climate change, globalisation, and demographic shifts.
If this action plan is to be substantial and sustainable, it must also be profitable. Our major contribution to society will therefore come through our core business, rather than only through our philanthropic programmes.
HUL CR - strategic framework
The strategy to address the impact areas will be executed through the three key pillars – our brands, our people and our business processes. Based on this, we have arrived at nine clear strategic actions for doing well by doing good.
