Supply Chain experience on the Unilever Future Leaders Programme

To understand Business Category and Factory role in it and to understand the business processes that are carried out in the Manufacturing unit. It helps familiarization with the processes in factory and the linkage to central functions.

For dovetailing Business needs to Project deliverables and to understand legal and statutory requirements.

Learn ‘demand planning’, using models and market knowledge to forecast sales. Then learn to use this data to ensure demands are met. Supply Planning helps understand the global buying structure, material categories and commodity tools.

Ensure on-shelf availability and order management. Interface with warehousing and transportation and manage quality delivery.

Learn to ensure all our products are available on our retailers’ shelves and achieve availability round the clock. Understand the tradeoff between Service / Cost / Fiscal.

Our strong customer focus means Supply Chain works closely with Customer Development to continuously improve service levels. This stint helps understand the sales structure and the entire process of target Setting and Planning.
