Across the world, organizations small and big are beginning to recognise the importance of “giving” and adopting a responsible business sense. Research has shown that customers and employees like to be associated with companies that are giving back to the community, thus working towards building a more sustainable future for all.

Hindustan Unilever Limited was delighted to be recognised and awarded at the first SABERA Awards held on 6th December 2018 at Teen Murti Bhavan, New Delhi. A purpose-driven company, HUL has always been and continues to be committed to operate and grow its business in a socially responsible way. The award was presented by chief guest Mr Bibek Debroy, Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister.

SABERA honours change-makers in 12 different categories, judged by a distinguished jury team including Dr Bhaskar Chatterjee (former Director General & CEO, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Corporate Affairs) and Sanjeev Bhikchandani (founder of Naukri.com).
