In January 2019, we launched a corporate campaign called #StartALittleGood. Staying true to our aim to drive awareness around waste management among our consumers, we started a 4-month long initiative called ‘Plastic Banega Fantastic.’ The initiative was launched by ambassadors of change, Kajol and Ajay Devgn, and was supported by hundreds of conscientious citizens who came out to clean up the Mahim Creek in Mumbai.

Start A Little Good has found many enthusiastic supporters across the country. Its objective is to demonstrate to our citizens the potential unlocked when plastic waste is segregated at source. The plastic that is collected through the clean-up drives will be recycled into useful items such as fishing boats and nets, spectacles and benches. These objects will be given back to those in society who need them the most.

On 9th February 2019, many Delhiites woke up determined to tackle one of the city’s popular tourist spots in Kalindi Kunj, New Delhi. More than 400 volunteers came together in solidarity on the morning of 9th February to participate in the clean-up drive. Volunteers were provided with the necessary gear to clean up the area in a safe manner. All the waste was collected and sorted into either dry waste or wet waste and will be transformed into useful items such as spectacles, fishing nets and benches.

Start A Little Good has sparked conversation and curiosity, thus driving actionable change by citizens of India. The projects under this initiative aim to raise awareness and educate citizens on pressing environmental issues the country is currently facing while urging them to make little changes in their daily lives that will make a sizeable impact.
