Project Prabhat helps empower communities

For many years, Vandana a single mother struggled to provide a comfortable life to her child. She needed to make some changes, starting with earning a decent living.

Vandana saw Hindustan Unilever’s Prabhat Livelihood Centre in Khamgaon, Maharashtra as a great opportunity. When she enrolled at the centre for a Beauty course, there was no looking back. After rigorous training, she launched her beauty business from home, then began to offer beauty services on call.

Today, Vandana can sustain herself and provide a better future for her child. Her journey to empowerment serves as a beacon of hope for women who find it challenging to provide for their family.
