Kwality Walls Paddle Pop Gaming League 2012 Finals

The largest gaming tournament for children in India, Paddle Pop Gaming League (PPGL) completed its final stage on 6th January, 2013.

Paddle Pop Gaming League, has witnessed immense participation and fervor from children over the last five years. The tournamentattracted a participation of 31,070 children in 2008, 1, 60,000 participants in 2009, Over 7 Lakh children from 36 cities participated in PPGL 2010, and 1,002,633 children from 34 cities participated in PPGL 2011. The tournament is a platform for engagement that helps introduce the evolving ‘Adventures of the Paddlepop Lion.’

Following the consistent success over the years, Paddle Pop Gaming League 2012 witnessed participation from 14, 48,194 children from 30 cities. The league which follows the Online + Offline format, hosted a 65-day preliminary on from 15th September to 18th November. Contestants who qualified from the preliminaries played semi finals on Multiplayer Cricket – a popular multiplayer cricket game. 

The finals of the league took place on 6th January, 2013 at Mumbai and were played on a new customized online game created especially for Paddle Pop Gaming League 2012. The event was conducted as an on-ground activity, comprising a combination of preliminary & semi final game. The top scoring team won the title of ‘Paddle Pop Gaming League Championship of the Year.’ 

Commenting on the launch of Paddle Pop Gaming League 2012, Mr. Sapan Sharma, General Manager, Kwality Walls said, “Paddle Pop, our brands for kids is all about Fun and Adventure.
