HUL forays into premium rice segment

Indulge your senses and savour the taste of heritage with Gold Seal Indus Valley.

Hindustan Unilever’s Export Division has successfully built Gold Seal Indus Valley basmati as a premium brand in various countries in the Middle East with a presence dating back to 1986. The brand has established a unique identity and premium positioning among loyal consumers.

Basmati rice originated in India and only the aromatic variant of rice grown in the delta of the Indus river can be called Basmati. Indus Valley, home of the Sindhu River is the original birth place of Basmati rice. The word Basmati originates from ‘Bas’ means ‘Fragrant’ and ‘mati’ means ‘queen’ so Basmati means ‘the fragrant queen’.

Gold Seal Indus Valley is a pure Basmati rice. It brings to you the authentic taste and genuine purity of carefully selected Basmati grains from the finest basmati origins, aged to perfection.
