HUL is Client of the Year at Effies India 2013

HUL wins eight awards at Effies 2013 including the coveted Grand Effie Award.

HUL won a total of eight awards, including the coveted 'Grand Effie' , 3 Golds, 2 Silvers and 2 Bronzes at the 2013 Effie awards ceremony, which took place on 17 January 2014 in Mumbai.

With a total score of 95 points HUL had the highest score in the overall tally, thereby winning the ‘Client of the Year’ award.

We won the ‘Grand Effie’ for our Lifebuouy Roti Reminder – a campaign that was launched at the Mahakumbh Mela to encourage pilgrims to wash their hands before eating their food.

Lifebuoy was also recognized for its Help a Child Reach 5 Campaign and Hulk of Handwashes (for the Lifebuoy colour changing handwash). Our brands Kissan and Bru also won awards.

Speaking about HUL’s success at this year’s Effies, our Executive Director - Home and Personal care, Hemant Bakshi said, "I am delighted and proud especially since these awards are about effectiveness and nothing else."
