HUL wins a record 15 Abbys at Goafest 2016
Unilever dominated Goafest 2016 that drew to a close on 9 April 2016. Unilever set a record with a haul of 19 metals, out of which HUL won 15 Abbys.
Goafest is India's premier award that recognises excellence in creativity, in the field of Media and Advertising.
Amongst the 15 Metals, which is by far the highest score by any advertiser ( the next highest advertiser won only 4 metals!), HUL bagged 3 Gold: the Lifebuoy ‘Ramzan activation’ campaign was awarded a Gold for 'Best Use of Integrated Campaign', the Lakme ‘Lip Pout-Grazia’ campaign won a Gold for the 'Best Use of Newspapers and Magazines' while the Wheel ‘Lo Kar Lo Baat’ was honoured with a Gold for 'Best Use of Mobile Media'.
The other big win was in the Creative Abbys category where our work on Brooke Bond Red Label’s 6-pack band (a 'Content Day' initiative) won 3 metals.
The South Asia leg was a Unilever only story with 4 wins- 1 Gold by Sri Lanka and 3 Metals by Bangladesh.
