HUL bags the ET Corporate Citizen Award

The award bears testimony to the Company’s philosophy of ‘Doing Well by Doing Good.’

Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has won the coveted Economic Times Corporate Citizen of the Year 2018 award at a function held in Mumbai. Chairman and Managing Director, Sanjiv Mehta received the award from the Minister of Defence, Ms Nirmala Sitharaman.

Thanking the organisers and the judges on behalf of the Company, Sanjiv said, "This award is very special because it acknowledges the philosophy that lies at the heart of our Company – Doing Well by Doing Good."

He moved on to talk about the importance of a sustainable business model and the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan.
