HUL recognised at the NFEST conference
Our factories at Gandhidham, Kidderpore and Etah bring accolades
In an excellent start to 2018, three of Hindustan Unilever Limited's (HUL) factory units located in Kidderpore, Etha and Gandhidham were recognised for their sustainability achievements by New Frontiers in Engineering, Science, and Technology (NFEST) at its 1st International Conference held at New Delhi.
The awards were presented by the Hon'ble Prof. P. B. Sharma, President, Association of India Universities and Dr M. P. Poonia, Vice Chairman, AICTE.
The awards were received by Mr G. S. Rao, Factory Manager for HUL's Lakmé Lever Private Limited Factory at Gandhidham, Mr Anjan Maji, Factory Manager, HUL Etah factory, and Mr Puskar Mukherjee, Factory Manager, HUL's Kidderpore Factory.
This award is a recognition for our commitment to reducing our environment footprint, sustainable sourcing and use of renewable energy in our operations.

The Society for Fusion of Science & Technology in association with Delhi Technological University, NIT Kurukshetra, YMCA University of Science & Technology and other premier institutions organized the 1st International Conference on New Frontiers in Engineering, Science, and Technology (NFEST-2018) from January 8-12, 2018 in New Delhi, India. The conference is aimed to promote synergetic partnership between academia, research institutes, and industry to address global challenges, promote new horizons on science, engineering and technology for a sustainable future, and to showcase the growth of cutting-edge technology developed in recent past.
