HUL’s Tatapuram factory awarded for outstanding safety practices

HUL’s Tatapuram factory rewarded for excellence in safety Tatapuram-factory-reward

In light of the National Safety Week 2019, it was an added win for Hindustan Unilever Limited’s (HUL) Tatapuram factory. The factory in Kerala has been recognised for its excellent safety performance by the National Safety Council (NSC) of Kerala, India.

The Suraksha Puraskar in the Medium Scale Chemical Industries Category was presented by the Kerala State High Court Judge, Justice C K Abdul Rehim and Director of Boilers and Factories in an event organized by NSC, Kerala.

About National Safety Council, Kerala:

The National Safety Council (NSC) is set up by the Ministry of Labour & Employment of the Government of India. It is an independent, non-commercial, non-profit making, non-political and autonomous society. NSC serves as a high-quality resource centre for all services on Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) including a large variety of information, communication and educational material throughout the country. The Kerala Chapter of the NSC carries out the Society’s objectives and activities in the State.
