The Advertising Club last week announced the winners of its third edition of the marketing awards – Marquees 2019, that recognises brands for their excellence in marketing.
Awards were given out across a select set of 14 categories (Auto, FMCG, Banking, Telecom, Consumer Durables and more) of which Clinic Plus was adjudged the winner of the ‘FMCG – Personal Care’ category. Clinic Plus was recognised as the top personal care brand in India amongst a competitive peer set ranging from Soaps, Oral care, hair oils & shampoo, Skincare, among others.
The Advertising Club partnered with Kantar to lay out a credible ranking mechanism, ensuring a list of winners that truly deserved the accolades. Following the designed three-step selection process, the competing brands were shortlisted based on their performance.
Following that, some additional evaluation measures were taken, and a final picture was portrayed for the jury. Finally, using their domain knowledge and expertise, the panel declared Clinic Plus as the winner.
Clinic Plus, launched in 1987 as a family health shampoo, is the market leader in shampoo and the highest penetrated FMCG brand reaching ~230mn households & ~1.1bn consumers. Clinic Plus has created a pan-India presence in both urban and rural areas. From the early ’90s till date Clinic Plus was positioned on a strong bond of mother-daughter and strength that the shampoo gives to your hair.
