HUL awarded by FSSAI

HUL received the Eat Right Award from FSSAI under the subcategory of Community Outreach and Engagement. The award was presented by Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare.

The Eat Right Award has been constituted by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to recognise the contribution of food companies and individuals towards the Eat Right India Movement. It has been built on two broad pillars of Eat Healthy and Eat Safe incentivising citizens to make healthy and informed food choices which would help in improving their health and well-being.

Food businesses and individuals adopting healthy food choices while focusing on the delivery of safe and nutritious food are the focus of these awards. By bringing consumers and the Food businesses under a single umbrella of Eat right, these awards aim to bridge the gap in supply and demand for healthy food choices in a holistic way.

The awards were presented under two categories ‘Eat Right Awards for Food Companies’ and ‘Eat Right Awards for Individual Contribution.’

HUL's Sangeeta Chadha received the award on behalf of the Company.
