At Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), we have an ingrained belief that when a business looks after the interests of all its stakeholders, i.e. consumers, customers, employees, suppliers, the planet and the communities, then shareholder value does get created.
HUL is known as a leadership factory in the industry. Building and nurturing talent have always been at the centre of the capability agenda in the organisation. Given the rapidly changing environment, the Company has taken its re-distribution stockists on a learning drive to enhance their business skills. The HUL distributors who attended the program come from different parts of India and some are second and third generation partners of the Company.
In collaboration with IIM – Ahmedabad, HUL had launched a four-day residential training program recently. This was a customised and co-created program built exclusively for HUL distributors by eminent faculty members from IIM-A and senior Managers from HUL. The course covered a variety of topics to help the participants become future-ready.
Each affiliate received a certificate at the end of the programme.
