Sanjiv wins the Transformational Leader Award

The Asian Centre for Corporate Governance & Sustainability awarded Sanjiv Mehta, Chairman & Managing Director, Hindustan Unilever Limited with the Transformational Leader Award (large Cap Category) at the 6th Asia Business Responsibility Summit.

Sanjiv has been with Unilever for 26 years and for the last 17 years he has been Chairman / CEO of Unilever businesses in different parts of the world including Bangladesh, Philippines, and North Africa and Middle East. He is known for his ability to ‘turn around’ businesses and build ‘high performing’ businesses which are embedded with purpose and values.

Sanjiv strongly believes that companies with purpose last, brands with purpose grow and people with purpose thrive.

The award was presented by Prof. Mervyn E King, Chairman Emeritus and Mr M. K. Chouhan Chairman, Mahendra & Young Knowledge Foundation & Chairman Fino Payment Bank, India at an awards function held in Mumbai on September 25, 2019.
