HUL shines on the Corporate Governance Scorecard

corporate governance scorecard

Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) was recognised at the fourth annual Corporate Governance Scorecard ratings at an event in Mumbai. The Corporate Governance Scorecard, a joint initiative of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), saw HUL make it to the list of India's top 10 scores of the S&P BSE Index constituents in the 'Leadership Category.' HUL has received this recognition for the second year in a row.

Titled 'Stability despite headwinds,' the event was attended by leaders including Mr Ramesh Ramanathan, Head, IFC, Mumbai; Ms Hetal Dalal, Chief Operating Officer, IiAS and Mr Neeraj Kulshrestha, Chief Regulatory Officer BSE.

The event included a panel discussion on corporate governance standards and practices, by distinguished investors and corporates, who discussed the Board's expectation from auditors, lessons from failures of boards and the nature of stakeholders' engagement with governance.

Supported and sponsored by the Japan Ministry of Finance, the content of this prestigious scorecard was developed in consultation with IFC.
