Children share ‘Dirt is Good’ experiences

Surf Excel showcases outstanding talent of ‘Little Film Makers’.

YouTube would serve as a perfect channel to bring alive all the values that the brand stands for and thereby build a deeper connection with millions of mothers and children who share a common belief in Surf’s values and initiatives. 

As the first step in this journey, the YouTube channel is being used to showcase outstanding talent of Little Film Makers. As a part of this step, Surf Excel had invited stories from over 10,000 children describing their “Dirt is good” experiences. The top eight scripts were selected for producing into films. The films were directed by the talented little ones themselves in association withthe eminent industry professionals - acclaimed Film Director AR Murgodoss (Ghajni), Film Actress Suhasni Mani Ratnam and Ad film makers Roshini, Sendil & Balaji. 

These movies have now gone live on YouTube and have received great response from the online audience with over 1,20,000 overall views in its first week itself. The channel views are growing at a phenomenal pace. 

Going forward, the Surf Excel YouTube channel would be employed as a visual medium to connect with the audience on all the upcoming movie associations, events and campaigns. The content would mostly be jointly generated with the audience.

Apart from YouTube channel, Surf has also launched two Surf Facebook pages, one focused exclusively on Surf Excel Matic Machine wash consumers

(http://www.facebook.com/surfexcelindia).
