Kissan urges consumers to plant & grow tomatoes

Campaign brings alive the proposition of Kissan ketchup of ‘100% Real Tomatoes' by engaging with kids.

The first step in this campaign is to make children part of a real tomato seed’s journey to growing into a plant bearing red and pulpy tomatoes. Kissan begins this exciting journey with the distribution of these tomato seeds to mothers and children. Tomato seed packets were attached to Kissan print advertisements in Mumbai and Delhi. Children could also register on to request for seeds and the seeds would be delivered to their homes.

The kids are then encouraged to upload pictures on to the Kissanpur site. What’s more, if the tomatoes grown by a participant get selected among the top 100 entries, they will be used in the making of Kissan ketchup, and their stories will be showcased on Kissan bottles. This further adds to the fun and excitement to children participating in the contest.

Through this campaign, Kissan is aiming to inspire a generation of children to discover the joy of happy growing through “real experiences”. Kissan has nurtured three generations of Indians since 1933 with food products full of natural goodness. Kissan’s vision is to provide not just delicious and nutritious food to every Indian child, but to be instrumental in their overall growth.
