HUL’s women leaders featured in IMPACT's 50 Most Influential list

It was a proud moment for HUL as three of our eminent women leaders - Geetu Verma, Priya Nair and Purnima Lamba featured in IMPACT’s 50 Most Influential Women in media, marketing and advertising in 2015. Geetu Verma, Executive Director, Foods & Refreshment ranked fourth on the list, Priya Nair, Executive Director & Vice President – Home Care was at the eight spot and Purnima Lamba, Head of Innovation – Lakmé at the twelfth place.

As women march forward with spirit and gumption in every field, their role, particularly in the field of media, marketing and advertising, has been on the rise. Recognising this, Impact magazine, a part of the exchange4media group, began this initiative in 2012 to acknowledge the immense contribution and inspiring leadership of women professionals in the domain. The fourth edition of this initiative was unveiled in Mumbai on March 18th 2015 amongst leading members of the fraternity. 

The women were selected by a jury of most esteemed industry leaders, led by Sam Balsara, Chairman and MD, Madison World. Other eminent names on the seven-member jury this year were Vinita Bali, former MD, Britannia Industries Limited, S Raghunandan, CEO, Jyothy Laboratories, Farokh Balsara, Partner, EY, Sandeep Chaudhary, CEO Aon Hewitt India, Shashi Sinha, CEO, IPG Mediabrands, India and Nakul Chopra, CEO- S Asia, Publicis.
