The Unilever Foundry launches in India

Hindustan Unilever launched ‘The Unilever Foundry’ in India on 9th October 2015.

The Foundry is Unilever’s global platform to connect Unilever brands with innovative start-ups seeking to partner with Unilever. The Foundry enables the company’s global brands to experiment with and pilot new technologies more efficiently, effectively and speedily. It also provides start-ups and entrepreneurs the opportunity to develop and work on global projects, access mentoring from marketing professionals, mentoring from Unilever teams and tap into a new source of funding through Unilever Ventures.

We aim to focus on areas of E-Commerce, Shopper Marketing (vicinity and hyper local), Analytics, Marketplaces, Supply Chain Efficiency, Content creation and curation, research and evaluation, digital media, engagement and ad models.

“The Unilever Foundry” aims to drive business growth by bringing in new technologies and new business models for our brands. It also brings into the organisation an entrepreneurial spirit and helps establish Unilever as a thought leader in this constantly evolving and exciting eco-system.

For the start-ups “The Unilever Foundry” is an opportunity to engage with brand teams on live business opportunities, access Unilever’s global scale, and tap into new sources of funding through Unilever Ventures.
